Conscia acquires AWS reseller and establishes strong position in DevOps and automation
Conscia, Cisco Gold Partner and experts in networking, data centre technology, security and mobility, has acquired Danish Amazon Web Services (AWS) reseller Dashsoft, who as part of the aquisition changes name to CloudPartners.
“With CloudPartners as part of our family, we will have access to very strong cloud-competences, especially within automation and DevOps”, says Mogens Bransholm, CEO, Conscia Group.
Cloud-platforms influenced by Cisco and Amazon
“Cisco and Amazon are market leaders, who play an important part of the development of cloud- platforms,” Mogens Bransholm continues. “Data centre technology makes up the core of our business, and we are leading within programmable Cisco networks via Cisco ACI. We have a strong stand in the transformation to Hybrid Cloud, and as such, AWS is a natural choice of partner. Many IT departments will supplement legacy IT with Public Cloud, because of the need to automate data centres and support flexible development. Through the acquisition of CloudPartners, Conscia is able to accommodate enterprises in handling this evolution.”
Development of networking and cloud
CloudPartners will remain an entirely independent business, and the 13 developers and experts will continue their work at the companies’ offices in Aarhus. Dashsoft founder, Mikkel Damsgaard says: “We are excited to become part of the Conscia family with the new company, CloudPartners. It enables us to take our efforts within AWS and DevOps to the next level, which has been a priority for a long period of time.”
